Hon Nadia Selkirk (nee Lucas) 1923-2013

__.The Hon. Nadia Selkirk, who died at Nettlebed, Oxfordshire, 4 June, 2013, aged 90, was a scion of the Barons Lucas of Chilworth (Baron, UK, cr 1946), born 19 Jan 1923, a daughter of the 1st Baron Lucas of Chilworth (1896-1967), by his wife the former Sonia Finklestein (d 1979). Her father was a Lord in Waiting during the Attlee Administration, was Capt Yeoman of the Guard 1949-50, and was Parl Sec to the Min of Transport 1950-51. She married 1944 (div 1980), Fl-Lt Hamish Selkirk, DFC, RAF, by whom she had issue. The funeral is at Reading Crematorium, 17 June, 2013. -=-
