_.The engagement was announced 6 June, 2009, between Alistair William Henry Nelson, 4th Baron Nelson of Stafford (b 3 June 1973), only son of the late 3rd Baron Nelson of Stafford (1943-2006), by his wife the former Dorothy Caley, of Tibthorpe Manor, East Yorkshire, and Kirsty Anne Snowball, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Snowball, of Scorton, North Yorkshire.
