The engagement was announced in November, 2006, between Max J. Baird-Smith, elder son of Mr Robin Baird-Smith and the late Sarah Baird-Smith, of Belsize Park, London, and Dorelia D. Adeane, scion of that LG family, daughter of Mr and Mrs James Adeane, of Ramsholt, Suffolk.
