Digby Seymour Neave, FRICS, senior partner, Messers Neave, Tinworth & Nuan, Chartered Quantity Surveyors, scion of the Neave Baronets (created 1795), died 31 March, 2006.
He was born in 1921, son of Edward Arthur Neave (1883-1960), by his wife Evelyn Margaret Lamb (d. 1966). He was a kinsman of the Rt Hon Airey Neave, MP, the Conservative Government Minister killed by an IRA bomb in the car park of the House of Commons in 1979.
He served in the Second World War as a Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery. Married 1948, Chrystel, an authoress, daughter of Professor Poul P. Outzen-Boisen, Knight of Dannebrog, OBE, of Rungsted Kyst, Denmark. No issue of the marriage.
