Lord Aberdeen, of the House of Formartine, Aberdeenshire, was also Earl of Aberdeen, Earl of Haddo, Viscount Formantine, Viscount Gordon, Lord Haddo, and the 15th baronet.
Alexander George Gordon was born 31 March, 1955, son of the 6th Marquess of Aberdeen [1920-2002], by his wife the former Anne Barry [1924-2007], scion of the Barry baronets, and succeeded to the family honours on his father's demise, 19 August, 2002.
He married 30 May, 1981, Joanna Clodagh Houldsworth, daughter of Maj Ian George Henry Houldsworth, by whom he had issue, three sons, George, Sam and Charles, and a daughter, Anna.
The eldest son, George Ian Alastair Gordon, styled Earl of Haddo [born 4 May, 1983], succeeds as 8th Marquess.

Her younger brother Edward John [Johnny], was the 8th Earl Spencer [1924-92], father of Diana, Princess of Wales.
Lady Anne served as an officer in the WRENS in the Second World War.
Lady Anne married 10 February, 1944, Captain Christopher Baldwin Hughes Wake-Walker, RN [1920-1998], of East Bergholt, co Suffolk, scion of the Walker baronets, son of Admiral Sir William Frederic Wake-Walker, KCB [1888-1945], by his wife the former Muriel Elsie Hughes [died 1963], scion of the Hughes baronets. The then Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret attended the Wake-Walker's wedding reception at Admiralty House.

The Baroness MacLehose of Beoch [died 2020]
She was the former Margaret Noel Dunlop, daughter of Sir Thomas Dunlop, and married diplomat Crawford Murray MacLehose, in 1947.
Her husband served as British Ambassador to Vietnam 1967-69, and to Denmark, 1969-71, was created a life peer in 1982, and appointed a Knight of the Thistle in that year.
Lady MacLehose is survived by a daughter, the Hon Sylvia Margaret Sandeman [born 1949], and was predeceased by a daughter, the Hon Elfrida Wedgwood.
The funeral takes place at St Oswald's Episcopal Church, Maybole, Ayrshire, 26 February, 2020.

She was born the Hon Tessa Mary Brand, 21 April, 1934, fourth daughter of the 4th Viscount Hampden, CMG [1900-1965] who also succeeded as 26th Baron Dacre, by his wife the former Leila Emily Seely [1900-1996], scion of the Seely baronets.
She married 24 July, 1956, Julian Ogilvie Thompson, daughter of Newton Ogilvie Thompson [1904-92], by his wife the former Anne Agnes Eve Wiener [1905-2000], by whom she had issue, two son, Christopher and Anthony, and two daughters, Rachel and Katharine.
On her father's death, 17 October, 1965, his viscouncty of Hampden passed to his closest male heir, and the Barony of Dacre [created in 1321] fell into abeyance between his two surviving daughters, Rachel [born in 1929], and Tessa [born in 1934], and in 1970 the abeyance was terminated in favour of the elder daughter, Rachel [1929-2012], who became [27th] Baroness Dacre in her own right.

Sir Hugh Guy Cubitt, CBE 1928-2020
Hugh Guy Cubitt was born 2 July, 1928, son of Lieutenant-Col the Hon Charles Guy Cubitt [1903-79], by his wife the former Rosamond Mary Edith Cholmeley [1904-84], scion of the Cholmeley baronets, and was a grandson of the 2nd Baron Ashcombe [1867-1947].
He was educated at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth and Greenwich, and was a naval cadet in the closing months of the Second World War. He served as a Lieut [RN] in the Korean War 1949-51. Elected to Westminster City Council in 1963, and later became its leader. He served as Lord Mayor of Westminster 1977-78. In 1983 he was knighted and served as High Sheriff of Surrey in that year.
Hugh Cubitt married 26 June, 1958, Linda Ishbel Campbell [born 1934], scion of the Barons Colgrain, daughter of the Hon Angus Dudley Campbell, by his wife the former Joan Pakenham, scion of the Earls of Longford. He leaves a widow and a son Jonathan and two daughters, Joanna and Victoria.

He was born in 1944, a son of Colonel John Offley Crewe-Read [1908-], by his wife the former Hon Diana Wroughton Robins [died 2007], daughter of the 1st [and last] Baron Robins [1884-1962].
He married firstly, Elizabeth Jane Dyer, by whom he had issue, Caspian, Daniel and Gabriella. By his 2nd wife, the former Emma Garton, he had issue, Honey-Bee, Sacha, and Charles.
His eldest daughter, Gabriella, married Toby Grafftey-Smith [died 2017], a founder member of the band Jamiroquai.

Malcolm Greenhill was born 5 May, 1924, a younger son of the 1st Baron Greenhill [1887-1967], by his wife the former Ida Goodman [who died in 1985].
He succeeded to the peerage, created in 1950, on the death of his elder brother, Stanley, the 2nd Baron, 28 September, 1989.
Lord Greenhill was unmarried, and the peerage now becomes extinct.
The funeral will take place at West Berkshire Crematorium, 20 February, 2020.

She was born 15 May, 1942, as Diana Anne Sheffield, second daughter of John Vincent Sheffield [1913-2008], by his 1st wife the former Anne Margaret Faudel-Phillips [died 1969]. Her elder sister, Jane Stevens, was Lady in Waiting to HRH The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, for 32 years. A cousin, Davina Sheffield, was mooted as a possible Princess of Wales in the mid 1970s.
She married 9 July, 1966, David Mark Norman, scion of that landed family, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Mark Richard Norman, of Much Hadham, co Hertford, by whom she had issue, a son Jonathan [born 1972], and three daughters, Anna [born 1967], Isabella [born 1971], and Davina [born 1981]. Her middle daughter Isabella is the wife of the Hon Timothy Knatchbull [born 1964], a grandson of Admiral of the Fleet the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma [1900-79].

Mary Ada, Baroness Wrottesley 1929-2020
Mary Ada, Baroness Wrottesley, who died at Kirstenhof, Western Cape, South Africa, 31 January, 2020, aged 90, was the widow of the 5th Baron Wrottesley (1918-1977).
She was born 5 March, 1929, the only daughter of Edgar Dryden Tudhope, of Rondebosch, Cape Town, South Africa; and married 5 March, 1955, as his third wife, the then Richard John Wrottesley (born 7 July, 1918), son Lt the Hon Walter Bennet Wrottesley (1877-d 25 May, 1962), and his wife the former Kate May Harris, the only daughter of Douglas Howard Harris, of Craddock, Cape Colony, South Africa.
Her husband succeeded his uncle, 1 September, 1962, as 5th Baron Wrottesley (Peerage of the UK, cr 1838), and to the family baronetcy (cr 1642), and died 23 October, 1977.
Lady Wrottesley leaves issue, two sons, the Hon Stephen Wrottesley (born 21 Dec, 1955, died 4 Sept, 2003), and the Hon Nicholas Wrottesley (born 24 September, 1963).
