_. Dame Ingrid Mary Roscoe, DCVO, who died 28 June, 2020, aged 76, was Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire 2004-2018.
She was born 27 May, 1944, daughter of Arthur Allen and his wife, Else Markenstam. Her father died in her childhood and her mother subsequently married Brigadier Kenneth Hargreaves, CBE [1903-90], Lord Lieutenant of the West Riding 1970-74, and of West Yorkshire, 1974-78, who adopted Ingrid.
