_. The Hon Joanna Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce (b 1985), wife of the Hon Nicholas Edward Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce (born 16 Feb, 1986), gave birth to a daughter, Isla Beatrice, 14 October, 2016.

Nicholas is the son and heir of the 9th Baron Thurlow (b 13 Apr, 1952), (Peerage of GB, cr 1792), of Mapledurham, Oxfordshire, by his wife the former Bridget Anne Julia Cheape.

Joanna, a scion of the Earls of Lauderdale (Earl, Scotland, 1624) middle daughter of Patrick Richard Heriot Maitland (born 1947), of Fossway, Kinross, by his wife the former Marilyn Lois Grant.

Rose Elizabeth Mary Crisp (b 2016)

_. The Lady Hermione Mary Annabel Crisp (b 1982, nee Shirley), scion of the Earls Ferrers, and wife of Edward J. Crisp, of Kirby Cane Hall, co Norfolk, gave birth to a daughter, Rose Elizabeth Mary, 9 October, 2016.

Edward Crisp is a son of the late Maj Simon Crisp and the late Mrs Christine Grote Crisp, & Lady Hermione  is the only daughter of the 14th Earl Ferrers (b 29 Dec 1952), of Ditchingham Hall, Norfolk, and the Countess Ferrers (nee Susannah Mary Sheepshanks, scion of that landed family).

Sir Allan Lindsay Morris, 11th Baronet 1961-2016

 Sir Allan Morris, 11th Baronet died at his home in Georgetown, Ontario, 16 October, 2016. He was 54.

Allan Lindsay Morris was born 27 November, 1961, son of Sir Robert Byng Morris, 10th Baronet [1913-1999], and his wife the former Christina Kathleen Field, and succeeded to the baronetcy [UK, cr 1806] on his father's death, 21 January, 1999.

Sir Allan married in 1986, Cheronne Denise Whitford [born 1962], daughter of Dale C. Whitford, of Par, Cornwall, and his wife the former Sheila M. German, by whom he had issue, two sons, Sennen and Chace, and a daughter, Chelsea.

The baronetcy is now inherited by the elder son, Sennen John Morris, who was born 5 June, 1995.

Lady Caroline Faber 1923-2016

_. The Lady Caroline Faber (nee Macmillan), who died 14 September, 2016, aged 93, was a scion of the Earls of Stockton (Peerage of the UK, cr 1984), the elder daughter of Harold Macmillan (1894-1986), Prime Minister 1957-63, who was created Earl of Stockton on his 90th birthday in 1984.

She was born in 1923 as Ann Caroline Macmillan. Her father had married in 1920, the Lady Dorothy Cavendish (1900-66), a daughter of the 9th Duke of Devonshire; she married in 1944, Julian Tufnell Faber (d 2002), and had issue.

Walter Ferguson is a great-great grandson of Sir Winston Churchill.

Sophie Brandram's paternal grandmother was HRH Princess Katherine of Greece & Denmark (1913-2007), who married Richard Campbell Brandram (1911-94) and became (by courtesy of King George VI)  'Lady Katherine Brandram'.

The Hon Alexander Fellowes is the only son of Robert Fellowes, Baron Fellowes, GCB, GCVO (born 11 Dec, 1941), sometime Principal Private Secretary to HM The Queen, scion of the landed family of Fellowes, of Shotesham, by his wife the former Lady (Cynthia) Jane Spencer (born 11 Feb, 1957).

Alexandra Fellowes is a scion of the Finlay Baronets, of Epping (cr Bt, UK, 1964), daughter of George Edward Bell Finlay (b 14 Apr 1948), descended from the Barons Thurlow (Peerage of GB, cr 1792), by his wife the former Rose A. Walker, of the Johnnie Walker whisky distillery family.

Alexander Fellowes is a first cousin of the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, and is a grandson maternally of the late 8th Earl Spencer, &c.
