Harry Lopes is a grandson paternally of the 2nd Baron Roborough (1903-92), and a grandson maternally of the 2nd Baron Astor of Hever (1918-84), by his wife Lady Irene Haig, daughter of Field Marshal the 1st Earl Haig, KT, GCB, OM, GCVO, KCIE (1861-1928), &c.

Michael Toby Phayre-Mudge (born 2009)
Brenda Phayre-Mudge (nee Harrison), wife of Marcus Andrews Phayre-Mudge (born 14 April, 1968), gave birth to a son, Michael Toby, in 2009.
Marcus is the son of Michael Conway Phayre-Mudge (1937-1983), and his wife the former Veronica Susan Scott(born 6 October, 1944), scion of the Earls of Eldon.
Brenda Phayre-Mudge is a daughter of Des Harrison, of Wimbledon.

Lady Emily Shard, born before the marriage of her parents, and legitimated upon their marriage, is, however, not in the line of succession to the Throne.

Death of Rear-Admiral Sam Salt, who commanded HMS Sheffield in the Falklands War
the Salt Baronets (cr UK 1899, of Standon) who died 3 December 2009,
aged 69, commanded HMS Sheffield - the first British warship to be
sunk by enemy action after the Second World War
James Frederick Thomas George Salt, always known as Sam, was born 19
April 1940, six months before his father Lt-Cdr George Stevenson Salt
(b 1908), was lost in the submarine Triad which sailed from Malta for
war patrol in the Gulf of Taranto and was never heard from again.
Sam's mother was the former Lilian Bridget Francis.
Rear-Adml Salt married in1975, Penelope Walker, daughter of Anthony
Walker. She survives him with their three sons; another son
predeceased him. Sam's sister is Lady Spencer-Nairn, wife of the 3rd
Baronet, &c.

He was b 1929, a yr son of the 1st Viscount Dunrtossil, GCMG, MC, PC, QC (1893-1961), by his wife the former (Catherine) Allison Swan, CStJ (d 1983); educ at Fettes; High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, 1983; married 1958, Frances Mary, dau of Wilfrid Rippon Snow, of Adelaide, South Australia, and had issue, a son (i) William, b 1960,and 2 daughters, (i) Alexandra (Lexi), b 1962, and Joanna Allison (Phreddie) b 1964; he also leaves grandchildren, Ruairidh, Fergus and Arabella. Memorial Service will be held at the Church of St. Giles, Maisemore, Gloucestershire on Friday, 8th January, 2010.
