Archie Edmund Roche (born 2007)

 Phillipa Kate Victoria Roche (née Long, born 1972), wife of the Hon. (Edmund) Hugh Burke Roche (born 5 February, 1972), brother & heir presumptive of the 6th Baron Fermoy (and a first cousin of Diana Princess of Wales), gave birth to a son, Archie Edmund, 5 October, 2007, a brother for Rosie Jeanne Burke Roche, who was born 21 June, 2005.

Phillipa is a daughter of Derek F.D. Long (born 1941), of Goldsborough, North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Elizabeth Rae McGregor (born 1945).

James Neil Heneage 1945-2007

 James Neil Heneage, who died 14 May, 2007, aged 61, was head of that landed gentry family.

He was born 8 June, 1945, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Neil Frederick Heneage (1913-1953), and his wife the former Rosemary Anne Dawson (born 1921).

He married in 1978, Roberta Gay Wilkinson (born 29 June, 1946), by whom he had issue, three sons, Christopher Neil Anthony (born 6 May, 1980), William (born 1981), and Edward (born 1988), and a daughter, Phoebe (born 1983).

Zara Noel (b 1978, nee van Cutsem) wife of the Hon Henry (Harry) Noel (b 1 July 1977), scion of the Earls of Gainsborough, gave birth to acson, Edward (Ned) Noel, 30 April, 2007.
Harry is the only son and heir of Viscount Campden (himself the eldestcson and heir of the 5th Earl of Gainsborough) by his wife the formercSarah Winnington (scion of the Winnington Baronets)
Zara is a daughter of Geoffrey Neil van Cutsem, scion of that LGcfamily, by his wife the former Sally McCorquodale, of that LG family.

Claire Alexandra Windsor, styled Countess of Ulster (b Sheffield, S Yorks, 29 Dec, 1977), wife since 2002, of Alexander Patrick Gregers Richard Windsor, styled Earl of Ulster (b London 24 Oct 1974), son and heir of HRH The 2nd Duke of Gloucester (b 1944), by his wife the former Birgitte Eva van Deurs, gave birth to a first son, Xan Richard Anders Windsor, styled Baron Culloden, 12 March, 2007.

Clements/Parsons engagement

The engagement was announced 24 February, 2007, between Nathaniel Clements, second son of Marcus Clements, of Fernshaw Road, London, and Joanne Clements, of Strokestown, Co Roscommon, and the Lady Alicia Siobhan Margaret Nasreen Parsons (b. 1971), only daughter of the 7th Earl of Rosse (b. 21 Oct 1936), of Birr Castle, Ireland, by his wife the former Alison Margaret Cooke-Hurle. The 7th Earl of Rosse is a yr half-brother of the 1st Earl of Snowdon, GCVO (b. 7 Mar 1930).

Victoria Goodlad (nee Manisty), wife of Magnus James Goodlad (b. 1972), gave birth to a daughter, Mary Isobel Rose, 18 February, 2007, a sister for Flora Cecilia Charlotte, who was b. 6 August, 2004.
Magnus is a son of Lord Goodlad, KCMG (b. 1943), life peer, sometime High Commissioner to Australia, Lady Goodlad (nee Hurst, a granddaguhter maternally of the 27th Earl of Crawford & Balcarres.
Victoria is the elder daughter of Mr & Mrs Michael Manisty, of Devon.

Hon Norah Brabazon

Fionnuala M. Brabazon, styled Lady Ardee (nee Aston), wife of Anthony Jacques Brabazon, styled Lord Ardee (b. 30 January, 1977), gave birth to a daughter, the Hon. Norah Elizabeth Brabazon, 16 February, 2007, at Dublin.
Lord Ardee is the only son of the 15th Earl of Meath and the Countess of Meath, of County Wicklow, and Fionnuala is the third daughter of Mr & Mrs Joseph Aston, of County Clare.

Harry Beresford-Peirse

Joanna M. Beresford-Peirse (nee Tamlyn), wife of Henry Njers De la Poer Beresford-Peirse, (b. 25 Mar 1969), scion of the Beresford-Peirse Baronets, gave birth to a son, Harry, 23 February, 2007. Henry is the son and heir of Sir Henry Grant De La Poer Beresford-Peirse, 6th Baonet (b. 1933), and Lady Beresford-Peirse, of Bedale and London, & Joanna is the youngest daughter of Mr Johnson Tamlyn, of Suffolk, and Mrs Susannah Graham-Campbell, of London.

Isla Gillian Josephine Gladstone

Charlotte M.S. Gladstone (nee Greggains) wife of Elwyn Andrew Gladstone [b. 1974], scion of the Gladstone Baronets, gave birth to a daughter, Isla Gillian Josephine, at New York, 17 February, 2007.
Elwyn is the son of Mr [James] Francis Gladstone, of Hawarden, of the Gladstone Baronets, by his wife, the former Hon. Josephine Jones, daughter of the Baron Elwyn-Jones, former Lord Chancellor, & Charlotte is the daughter of Mr & Mrs Peter Greggains, of Maryport, Cumbria.

2nd Earl Jellicoe, KBE

The 2nd Earl Jellicoe, KBE, who died 22 February, 2007, at the age of 88, was Lord Privy Seal and Leader of the House of Lords, 1970-73, when his political career was brought to an untimely end by the revelation that he had been using the services of prostitutes.

The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of the Lord Clark of Kempston, PC (1917-2004), a life baron.

Capt Robert Eden

Capt. Robert John Pulleine Eden, of Badlake, West Anstey, who died 20 February, 2007, was a scion of the Eden Baronets (cr. E 1672, GB 1776, and was kinsman of the 1st Earl of Avon, KG); he was b. 1920, a son of Brig. Henry Charles Hamilton Eden, CBE, MC (1889-1963), by his 1st wife the former Violet Alice Pulleine; married 1stly, 1947 (div 1969) the Hon. Rosemary Winifred Vivian, who d. 1981, daughter of the 3rd Baron Swansea; married 2ndly, 1969, Mrs Elizabeth Stanley Cleverly, he leaves a daughter, Sarah, from the 1st marriage, and 2 daughters, Catherine and Emily from the 2nd marriage. Funeral service at St Petrock's, West Anstey, 2 March.

Lady Felicity Harwood

The Lady Felicity Ann Harwood (née Attlee), who died 15 February, 2007 at Aldwick House, formerly of Beaconsfield, was a daughter of the Labour Prime Minister Clement (1st Earl) Attlee, KG, OM, CH, PC (1883-1967), who served as PM 1945-51.
She was b. 1925, dau of the then Maj. Attlee, MP, by his wife the former Violet Helen Millar (d. 1964), and married in 1955, John Keith Harwood, OBE, who died in 1989. She leaves issue, Richard, Penelope, Joanna and Sally.
Thanksgiving service at St Mary and All Saints' Church, Beaconsfield, 7 March, 2007.

Caroline Lady Nuttall

Caroline, Lady Nuttall, who died 16 February, 2007, aged 70, was the first wife of Maj. Sir Nicholas Keith Lillington Nuttall, 3rd Baronet.
Rosemary Caroline York was born 28 July 1936, the eldest child of Christopher York, DL, head of the LG family of York of Long Marston (and descended from the Milner Baronets), by his wife, the former Pauline Rosemary Fletcher, scion of that LG family, formerly of Allerton, and married Nicholas Nuttall, 20 Dec, 1960 (div 1971), by whom she had issue, Harry, and Tamara (dec.)
