Hill, son of Mr & Mrs Peter Hill, of Burbage, Wiltshire, and Olivia Mary Boyle [born 1982], scion of the Earls of Cork & Orrery, daughter of John Richard Boyle [born 1938], of Brancaster, Norfolk, by his wife the former Lena Rahr [born 1944].

The bride-to-be is a descendant of the 7th Earl of Cork & Orrery [1742-98].

Dotty Gore Browne is a granddaughter of Maj Thomas Gore Browne [died 1988], who married 1946, Lavinia Gertrude Georgiana Loyd [b 21 Dec, 1923], scion of that landed gentry family, of Lockinge, and a granddaughter maternally of the 1st Earl of Midleton [1856-1942].

The engagement was announced 23 Feb 2012, between Charles F. de Lacherois Day, son of Mr & Mrs Nicholas de Lacherois Day, of Kamogi, Kenya, and Violet Mary Naylor-Leyland (b 1983) daughter of Sir Philip Vyvyan Naylor-Leyland, 4th Baronet (b 9 Aug 1953), by his wife the former Lady Isabella Lambton (b 1958), daughter of the late Antony Claud Frederick Lambton, styled Lord Lambton (the disclaimed 6th Earl of Durham, &c).

Lauder / Willoughby engagement
