The engagement was announced 7 October, 2023, between William Anthony Edward Berry (born 1993), scion of the Viscounts Kemsley, son of Edward Anthony Morys Berry (born 23 June, 1960), of Bridport, Dorset, and his the former Joanna Clare Leschallas (born 1960), now of Smarden, Kent, & Alicia Rose Meynell (born 1994), scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of (Edward) James Hugh Meynell (born 1959), of Boraston, Shropshire, and his wife the former Amanda Clare Gifford Lywood (born 1961).
William Berry is a kinsman of the Prince of Wales, both descend from the late 4th Baron Fermoy:-
