The engagement was announced 30 May, 2019, between James Francis Stewart Macpherson [born 25 Oct, 1983], elder son of the late Ewen Cameron Stewart Macpherson, by his wife the former Hon Laura Anne Baring [born 12 June, 1952], scion of the Barons Northbrook, and Elise H.K. Midelfart, daughter of the late Mr Finn Erik Midelfart, and of Mrs Midelfart, of Oslo, Norway.
James Macpherson is a grandson maternally of the late 5th Baron Northbrook [1915-1990].
