Dorothy Louisa Freeland

Dorothy Louisa Freeland (née Fane), who died 14 January, 2007, was a scion of the Earls of Westmorland (cr. 1624). She was b. 1917, a daughter of Hubert William Fane (1878-1949) by his wife Tilda von Adametz (d. 1953); married 1stly, 1938, Capt Frederick James Colville, scion of the Viscounts Colville of Culross (who d. killed in action, 1940); married 2ndly, 1941 (div. 1962) Lt-Cdr Clifford John Maddocks, RNVR, MIME; 3rdly, 1962 (div. 1974), Lt-Col John Anthony Russell Freeland, late the Queen's Royal Regiment, who d. 1989; and leaves issue.
