Anne Mildred Hanbury, who died 14 August, 2005, at the age of 92, was the widow of Richard Nigel Hanbury, CBE, DL, JP (1911-1972), High Sheriff of Hertfordshire (1960), of Hay Lodge, Braughing, Ware, Hertfrodshire, scion of the BLG family of Hanbury of Drumstinchall, formerly of Poles.
She was the former Anne Mildred Alers Hankey, only child of Ernest Percival Alers Hankey, of Brook House, Stowton, Wiltshire (scion of that BLG family - see the 1952 edition).
She married Richard Hanbury, 6 Feb, 1936, and leaves issue, 2 daughters, (i) Penelope Anne (Pepe) b. 1937, married 1959, Sir John Edwin Lavallin Nugent, 7th Baronet; & (ii) Lucinda Jane (Cindy).
The funeral takes place at St Mary's, Braughing, Ware, 22 August, 2005
