The engagement was announced 16 April, 2025, between Joshua B. Wade, son of Mr & Mrs Chris Wade, of Towersey, Oxfordshire, and Marina Catherine E. Monteith (born 1996), daughter of Desmond Monteith, of Oxhill, Warwickshire, and his wife the former Emma Jenefer Seyfried (born 1964), daughter of Capt John Beeton Seyfried, Royal Horse Guards (who died 28 March, 2008, aged 84), and his 2nd wife the former Anne Daphne Holbech, scion of that landed gentry family.
Marina Monteith is a niece of David John Seyfried Herbert, 19th Baron Herbert (born 2 March, 1952).
