The engagement was announced 20 May, 2026, between the Hon Rupert Dudley Leigh (born 21 February, 1994), son and heir of the 6th Baron Leigh (born 20 October, 1960), of Gloucestershire, and Sophy, Baroness Leigh (nee Sophy-Ann Burrows, born 1963), of Wiltshire, & Freya Ann K. Peat (born 1998), daughter of Simon Peat, of Derbyshire, and Mrs Lara Peat-Dixon (nee Ignatieff), of North Yorkshire.
