The engagement was announced 19 May, 2026, between Patrick Frankland Hepburn (born 1989), eldest son of Stuart Frankland Hepburn (born 1954), of Great Canfield, Essex, and his wife the former Alison Bayne, & Georgina Clare Merriam (born 4 February, 1990), daughter of Richard Henry Faber Merriam (born 1957), of Faygate, West Sussex, and his wife the former Penelope J. Gidley-Kitchin (born 1958).
Georgina Merriam is descended from the Marquesses of Ailsa:-
