The engagement was announced 14 November, 2024, between Ady Calderbank, son of the late David Calderbank, of Lancashire, and his wife Carole, & Catherine E.M. Poole, daughter of Timothy Giles Elphinstone Poole (born 24 August, 1956), and his wife the former Cynthia McRae Jones.
The bride-to-be is descended from the Elphinstone baronets:-
