_. Doreen Baroness Strabolgi, who died 8 July, 2019, was the fourth wife, and widow, of the 11th Baron Strabolgi [1914-2010].
She was the former Doreen Margaret Morgan, daughter of Alexander Morgan, of Ashton-under-Lyne, co Lancaster, and married Lord Strabolgi, 3 June, 1961.
Her husband, David Montague de Burgh Kenworthy, succeeded his father in the peerage in 1953. The ancient title was created by Writ of Summons in 1318. Lord Strabolgi was elected to the House of Lords in 1999, and served as a deputy Speaker [Labour].
The funeral takes place at St Peter's Church, Eaton Square, London, 24 July, 2019.
