Diana Elizabeth Shervington 1919-2018

Diana Elizabeth Shervington (nee Bradford), who died 24 July, 2018, aged 99, was a scion of the Bradford baronets, and descended from the Knights and Austens, and was a kinswoman of Jane Austen on both sides of her family. Born in 1919 daughter of Lt-Col Edward Austen Bradford, DSO (1879-1958), by his wife the former Margaret Louisa Hardy (1878-1972); married 1941, Rupert Patrick Shervington (1916-2003), by whom she had a son and two daughters.

A Thanksgiving Service takes place at St Peter and St Paul's Church, Uplyme, Friday 31 August, 2018.
