._ Lady Rashleigh, who died at her home, 30 March, 2013, was chatelaine of Menabilly, Cornwall, the Georgian house from which Daphne Du Maurier drew her 'Manderley' in her classic novel 'Rebecca'.
Lady Rashleigh was the wife of
Sir Richard Harry Rashleigh, 6th Baronet (b 8 Jul 1958), (Bart, UK, cr
1831), of Menabilly, Parr, Cornwall.
Lady Rashleigh was born Emma Felicity Clare McGougan, the elder daughter of the late John McGougan,
of London, by his former wife the former Jennifer Dyke (who married
2ndly, 1987, Sir Antony Arthur Acland, KG, GCMG, GCVO (scion of the
Acland Baronets, cr UK, 1890).
She is survived by her husband and two children.
