The Lady Elizabeth Joan Baxendale (nee Fortescue), who died 17 Jaanuary, 2010, aged 83, was a scion of the Earls Fortescue. She was b 1 October 1926, a dau of Hugh William Fortescue, 5th Earl Fortescue, by his wife the Hon. Margaret Helen Beaumont, scion of the Viscounts Allendale. She married 9 Jul 1946, Major William Lloyd John Baxendale, son of Captain Guy Vernon Baxendale, by whom she had issue:-

Peter Anthony Baxendale b. 1955
Lucinda Margaret Baxendale b. 1958
