The Hon Barnaby John Howard, who died at Jacksonville, Florida, United States, 18 December, 2011, aged 86, was a scion of the Barons Strathcona & Mount Royal.

He was born 23 November, 1925, second son of the 3rd Baron Strathcona & Mount Royal (1891-1959), and his wife the former Hon Diana Evelyn Loder (1899-1984), scion of the Barons Wakehurst.

He was four times wed, firstly, 19 January, 1952 (div. 1967), to Elizabeth Mayfield (died 2009), daughter of Frank McConnell Mayfield, of St Louis, Missouri; married secondly, 4 Oct, 1970, Mary-Jane Chambers (who died 1994), daughter of Ambrose Chambers; married 3rdly, 1996, Linda Frances Kitson (born 17 Feb, 1945), daughter of Henry James Buller Kiston; and married 4thly, 2006, Evelyn McDonald, of Montreal. 

From his first marriage he had issue, a son Alan (1956-1992), and two daughters, Elizabeth (born 1957), and Sarah (born 1972).

The Lady Runcie, widow of the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Runcie, died 12 January, 2012, aged 79. The well-known classical pianist was born Angela Rosalind [Lindy] Turner in 1932, a dau of J.W. Cecil Turner, and married Robert Runcie in 1957. Her husband, who was Bishop of St Albans, and then Archbishop of Canterbury from 1980 to 1991, died in 2000. She is survived by a son, James, and a daughter, Rebecca. -==-

Eliza Scarlet Hannon (born 2012)

Jemima Alice Charlotte Hannon (nee Ensor, born Aug 1982), wife of Richard Michael Hannon Jr (born 24 September, 1975), gave birth to a daughter, Eliza Scarlet, circa 8 January, 2012.

Hon Shaun Albert Frederick Sheridan Plunket [1931-2012]

_.The Hon Shaun Albert Frederick Sheridan Plunket, younger brother and heir presumptive to the 8th Baron Plunket (cr UK, 1827), has died. He was 80. He was a childhood friend of the Queen and Princess Margaret, and a brother of Patrick, 7th Baron, who served as equerry to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II and served as Her Majesty's Deputy Master of the Household for 20 years until his untimely death in 1975.

Mr Plunket is survived by his third wife Andrea, and by a son and daughter of his first marriage. The son, Tyrone, 45, is now heir pres to the barony.

(1916-2007), and a great-nephew of the 17th Duke of Norfolk, KG

It is Mr Lascelles's second marriage. His first in Aug 1992 to Andrea Kershaw, ended in divorce.
