Charles Rowland Marriott died 17 October, 2026. He was 90.
He was born 5 February, 1936, the son of Rowland Arthur Marriott (1899-1992), of Cotesbach Hall, Leicestershire, and his wife the former Evelyn Alice Ursula Caillard (1907-1982).
He was a great-grandson of the 4th Earl Temple of Stowe (1847-1902).
He married at Winchester, in April, 1964, Susan E. Savill (born 1941), by whom he had issue, Charles Edward Salusbury Marriott (born 1967, married to a Camilla Shand, no relation of the Queen), Hester (born 1969), and Anna (born 1973).
