The engagement was announced 18 March, 2025, between W. George Clark, son of the late Matthew Clark and Jane Clark, of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, and Arabella Kate Ryland (born 1994), second daughter of Charles John Ryland (born 1962), of Tidebrook, East Sussex, and his wife the former Jane M. Cullis.
Arabella's paternal grandmother, Anne Innes (1929-2019), was a scion of the Irish gentry family of that name of Dromantine and descended from the Wolseley baronets (cr 1628), and the Earls of Meath.
