He was born 8 April, 1947, son of Robert Grenville Plantagenet Morgan-Grenville (1916-1993), and his wife the former Mabel Frazer Allen Ellis (who died 1985), and was a great-grandson of a peeress in her own right, the 11th Lady Kinloss (1852-1944).
He married 1stly, in 1970 [div.], Diana Jane Chambler, and married 2ndly, 1982, Valerie de Marigny.
