The engagement was announced 3 February, 2018, between the Hon Robert Marcus Duncan de la Poer Beresford (born 1988), son and heir of the 7th Baron Decies (b 1948), of Straffan, Co Kildare, by his second wife  the former Edel Jeannette Hendron (born 1957), & Susannah, only daughter of Mr & Mrs James Hill, of Dunganstown, Co Wicklow.
