Sonia Audrey Elwes (nee Sebag-Montefiore) c1924-2012

_Sonia Audrey Elwes (nee Sebag-Montefiore), who died at Sherborne, 9 February, 2012, aged 87, was the wife of Capt Robert Valentine Gervase Elwes (1922-59), scion of the landed family of Elwes of Roxby. She was born circa 1924, a dau of Lt-Col. Eric Cecil Sebag-Montefiore, of Le Mote, Pebmarsh, Essex; & married 8 Oct 1946. She leaves issue, two sons and a daughter. Her elder son, Martin Robert Stephen (b 1948) married 1984, Sarah Marianne Worsley, scion of the Worsley Baronets and niece of HRH The Duchess of Kent, &c. -==-
