__.This being St George's Day Her Majesty has made the following appointments to the Order of the Garter, viz: Nicholas Addison Phillips, the Baron Phillips of Worth Matravers, 72, president of the Supreme Court; & Michael Boyce aka Admiral The Baron Boyce, 68, sometime Chief of the Defence Staff.
