The engagement was announced 10 August, 2026, between Joshua Edward Murton (born September, 1995), the only son of Francis Gerald Murton (born Dec, 1966), of St Helier, Jersey, and his wife the former Shân L. Rees (born circa 1963), and Ophelia Alexandra Browne (born 17 May, 1994), scion of the Barons Oranmore & Browne, elder daughter of Shaun Dominick Browne (born 22 January, 1964), of Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, heir presumptive to the Oranmore peerage, and his wife the former Elizabeth Jane Bird (born 1972).
