Elizabeth Jane Douglas Crichton-Stuart (nee Whitson), died 4 July, 2026.
She was a daughter of Ernest James Whitson (c1886-1852), and married 3 October, 1964, Frederick John Patrick Crichton-Stuart (1940-2011) (HE Fra’ Fredrik, Knight & 56th Grand Prior in England of Sovereign Military Order of Malta), scion of the Marquesses of Bute, elder son of Lord Rhidian Crichton-Stuart (1917-1969), and his wife the former Selina van Wijk (1913-1985), and grandson of the 4th Marquess of Bute (1881-1947).
Elizabeth Crichton-Stuart leaves issue, two sons, Rhidian and Edward, and three daughters, Iona, Amanda and Alexandra.
