Michael Eliot Howard died 26 June, 2025, aged 78. He was born in 1947, a son of Eliot Charles Stewart Howard (1903-1990), and his wife the former Daphne Gladys Colville (1911-1949), scion of that landed gentry family, of Bellaport Hall, Shropshire; and married 8 September, 1973, Caroline Anne Pelly (born 23 November, 1950), scion of the Pelly baronets, daughter of John Gordon Pelly, RNVR (1923-2004), and his wife the former Patricia Maureen Fuller (who died 2020), by whom he had 2 sons, Nicholas and Harry and a daughter, Joanna.
