Antony Sebastian Roger de Winton Winlaw died 21 June, 2025. He was 87.
He was born in 1938, a son of Squadron Leader Roger de Winton Kelsall Winlaw (1912-1942), by his wife the former Marsali Mary Seymour-Seal (1912-2004). (Marsali Winlaw, widowed, married secondly, in 1946, John Michael Montgomery-Massingberd (died 30 Dec, 2004), scion of that landed gentry family, and had further issue including a a son, Hugh Montgomery-Massingberd (who died 25 Dec, 2007), the writer, and obituarist.
He married 1stly, 1963 (div), Carole Patricia Hinmers (1942-2004), daughter of Thomas Leslie Hinmers (1905-1962), and his wife the former Mavis Leila Brown (1914-1996), by whom he had four daughters, Victoria, Gabriel, Grania and Alice; and married 2ndly, in 1972, Ann Marshall.
