Diana, Lady Dryden, who died in New Zealand, 2 July, 2025, was the widow of Sir John Dryden, Bt.
She was born in 1944, as Diana Constance Tomlinson, daughter of Cyril Tomlinson, of Highland Park, Wellington, New Zealand, and married 10 April, 1970, John Stephen Gyles Dryden (was born 26 September, 1943), son of Sir Noel Percy Hugh Dryden, 7th and 10th Baronet [1910-70], and his wife the former Rosamund Mary Scrope [1915-94], scion of that landed dynasty. Her husband to two baronetcies on the death of his father, 23 March, 1970. Her husband died 29 June, 2022.
She leaves a son, Sir (John) Frederick Simon Dryden, 9th/12th Baronet (born 26 May, 1976), and by a daughter, Caroline (born 1980).
