The engagement was announced 19 July, 2025, between Capt Frederick Guy (Freddie) Coreth (born 23 April, 1998), younger son of Major Mark Rudolph Coreth (born 1958), of Tisbury, Wiltshire, late The Blues & Royals, the sculptor, and his wife the former Seonaid Mary Goodbody (born 1961), scion of that landed gentry family; and Francesca Norah FitzHerbert (born 21 April, 1998), daughter of Sir Richard Ranulph FitzHerbert, 9th Baronet (born 2 November, 1963), of Tissington, Derbyshire, and his former wife the former Caroline Louise Shuter (born 1965, now Mrs Charles Hurt, of Wistanstow, Shropshire).
Freddie Coreth is a grandson paternally of Count Maurice Botho Rudolf Maria Coreth zu Coredo und Starkenberg (1929-1997), and his wife the former Jenny Mary Gloria Elwes (1930-2014), scion of that landed gentry family, of Roxby.
