Dame Ingrid Mary Roscoe, DCVO 1944-2020
She was born 27 May, 1944, daughter of Arthur Allen and his wife, Else Markenstam. Her father died in her childhood and her mother subsequently married Brigadier Kenneth Hargreaves, CBE [1903-90], Lord Lieutenant of the West Riding 1970-74, and of West Yorkshire, 1974-78, who adopted Ingrid. Her mother died in 1968, and the following year Brig Hargreaves married the Hon Margaret Lane Fox, scion of the family of Bramham Park, daughter of the 1st and last Lord Bingley.
She was appointed DCVO in the Queen's Birthday Honours, in June, 2017.
She married 5 Oct, 1963, John Richard Marshall Roscoe, of North Deighton Manor, Wetherby, by whom she had issue, three children, Nick, Emma and Katie.

Paul Goudime 1937-2020
He was born in 1927, son of Paul Goudime-Levkovitsch [1910-1984], by his wife the former Sheila Violet McNeill [1908-86], scion of the MacNeills of Colonsay, and was a great-grandson of Sir Oswald Mosley, 4th Baronet [1848-1915]. His sister, Xenia, married the 15th Earl of Meath.
He was also a descendant of the Dukes of Marlborough. His great-grandmother was Lady Clementine Spencer-Churchill [1848-86].
He married in 1963, Elizabeth Susan [Susie] Heywood [born 1941], scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of [Richard] Peter Heywood, by his wife the former Ruth Evelyn Barclay [1911-2008], scion of the Barclays of Higham, &c. He was a 6th cousin of HM The Queen, a Mosley descendant via her mother.
Paul Goudime leaves two children, a son, Michael and a daughter, Louise.

Robin Gerard d'Abo 1939-2020
He was born 12 April, 1939, the eldest son of Robert Erland Nicolai a'Abo [1911-70], by his first wife the former Mary Elisabeth Graham-Clarke [later Lady Cooper, died 1999], scion of the Graham-Clarke landed gentry family. His father's second wife, from 1951, was Lady Ursula Manners, daughter of the 9th Duke of Rutland.
Robin d'Abo married firstly, 10 Nov, 1964, Anne Clare Davie, daughter of Maj John Edward Jocelyn Davie [1910-98], scion of the Davie-Thornhill landed gentry family. He married secondly, 1976 [div 1987], Mrs Jennifer Mary Victoria Cadbury [1945-2003], former wife of Peter Egbert Cadbury [1918-2006], and daughter of Maj Michael Hammond-Maude, by his first wife the former Rosamond Patrick. He married 3rdly, 1987, Meriel J. Hamilton. He married 4thly, in 2010, Mrs Patricia Anne Tippett [nee Hall].
He is survived by his fourth wife Trish, and a daughter from his first marriage, Zara [born 1966], and a son, also from the first marriage, John Gerard N. d'Abo [born 1968].

Robin Alfred Wellesley 1928-2020
He was born 23 June, 1928, as Robin Alfred Gilbey, son of Quintin Holland Gilbey [1899-1979], by his first wife, the former Elizabeth Thornton-Ball [1909-81]. The marriage of his parents ended in divorce and his mother married secondly, 15 Oct, 1931, Capt Gerald Valerian Wellesley, MC [1885-1961], scion of the Earls of Cowley and kinsman of the Dukes of Wellington. Subsequently, in 1937, Robin Gilbey assumed by deed poll, his step-father's surname, Wellesley.
He married 7 March, 1953, Marianne McDonald [died 2016], daughter of John McDonald, by whom he had issue, a son, Gerald, born in 1958, and two daughters, Diana [born 1954], and Laura [born 1956]. The younger daughter married in 1981, the Hon Francis Pym [born 21 Sept, 1952], son of the life peer, the Baron Pym, PC [1922-2008], former Foreign Secretary, &c.

The Baroness Maddock 1945-2020
Diana Mary Derbyshire was born 19 May, 1945, daughter of Reginald Derbyshire and Margaret Evans; married 1966, Robert Frank Maddock, by whom she had two daughters; married secondly, 2001, the Rt Hon Alan Beith, Baron Beith [born 20 Apr, 1943], sometime Deputy Leader of the Lib Dems and MP for Berwick upon Tweed.
Diana Maddock was created a life peer as Baroness Maddock, of Christchurch in the County of Dorset, in 1997, and served as the Lib Dem spokesman on Housing in the Lords.
She is survived by Lord Beith and by her two daughters.

Sir John Raymond Perring, 2nd Baronet 1931-2020
John Raymond Perring was born 7 July, 1931, son of Sir Ralph Edgar Perring, 1st Baronet [1905-98], Lord Mayor of London 1962-63, by his wife the former Ethel Mary Johnson [died 1991].
The first baronet was the holder of one of the last baronetcies to be created, in 1963, at the end of his term of office as Lord Mayor.
John Perring succeeded to his father's baronetcy, 28 June, 1998. He married 21 July, 1961, Ella Christine Pelham [born 20 July, 1940], scion of the Earls of Chichester, daughter of Maj Anthony George Pelham [1911-69], by his wife the former Ann Margaret Bergengren [died 1990], and by her had issue.
Sir John's eldest son, John Simon Pelham Perring, born 20 July, 1962, now succeeds to the baronetcy.

Sir Charles Theodore Gunning, 9th Baronet 1935-2020
He was born 19 June, 1935, son of Sir Robert Charles Gunning, 8th Baronet [1901-89], by his wife the former Helen Nancy [known as Ann] Hallett; and succeeded to the baronetcy [created, GB, 1778] on his father's death, 7 Dec, 1989.
Married firstly, 1969 [div 1982], Sarah Eaton, daughter of Colonel Patrick Arthur Eaton; married secondly, 1989, Linda, daughter of Theodore Kachmar.
Sir Charles, who lived in Ottawa, Canada, leaves one daughter, Caroline Anne, who was born in 1971. The baronetcy now passes to his younger brother, John Robert Gunning [born 17 Sept, 1944].

Robert [Robin] Fleming, CBE, DL 1932-2020
He was born 18 Sept, 1932, son of Maj. Philip Fleming [1889-1971], by his wife the former Joan Cecil Hunloke [1901-1991], and was a cousin of the James Bond creator, Ian Fleming.
Robin's mother was descended from Lady Sophia FitzClarence [1795-1837], the illegitimate daughter of King William IV and the actress Dorothea Bland [known as 'Mrs Jordan'].
Robin Fleming served in the Royal Scots Greys, and joined the family merchant bank, Robert Fleming Holdings, in 1958. He served as High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1980, and was appointed a deputy lieutenant of the county a decade later.
His homes were at Steeple Barton near Bicester, and Black Mount, Bridge of Orchy, Argyll.
He married 28 April, 1962, Victoria Margaret Aykroyd [born 1 Apr, 1939], scion of the Aykroyd baronets, daughter of Frederic Howard Aykroyd [1907-78], by his wife the former Ruth Joan Oldfield [died 1992].
He is survived by his wife, and by three children, Philip [born 1965], Rory [born 1968], and Joanna [born 1963].
His son Rory was married to Baroness Caroline Elizabeth Ada Iuel-Brockdorff, a relative of the Danish royal family.

She married 26 January, 1980, the Rt Hon Owen William Paterson [born 24 June, 1956], of Shelbrook Hull, Ellesmere, co Shropshire, son of Alfred Paterson, of Tarporley, Cheshire, by whom she had issue, two sons and a daughter.
Her husband, Tory MP for North Shropshire since 1997, was Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, 2012-14.

Maj. Giles Vivian Inglis-Jones 1967-2020
He was born in 1967, scion of the Inglis-Jones landed family, son of Julian David Vivian Inglis-Jones [1933-2010], by his wife the former Mairi Lennox Owen, and married 24 March, 1995, the then Arabella Jane Hornell, daughter of Denis Peareth Hornell Lennox of that Ilk and of Woodhead [b 1 Aug, 1941], by his wife the former Jane Logan Batters.
His wife was recognised as Chief of the Name and Arms of Kincaid from on 29 July 1999. She was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated her arms at the Lyons Court on 26 January 2001. On 26 January 2001 her name was legally changed to Arabella Jane Kincaid of Kincaid, recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms.
Maj Inglis-Jones leaves a widow and five children.

She was born in 1938, daughter of General Sir Joseph Howard Nigel Poett, KCB, DSO [1907-1991], of Cranmer Court, London, who commanded the 5th Parachute Brigade in the Second World War, by his wife the former Julia Herrick.
She married 17 September, 1960, Capt Peter Sebag-Montefiore, son Maj Geoffrey Edmund Sebag-Montefiore [1893-1943], by his wife the former Elizabeth Grace Troyte-Bullock [1898-1975], by whom she had five children.
Mrs Sebag-Montefiore was the mother-in-law of zoo owner and conservationist Damian Aspinall.
Mrs Sebag-Montefiore is survived by her husband.

She married 18 Dec, 1945, Walter Alexander Maconchy Peel [1914-2008], of Rathmore, Raheny, co Dublin, sometime head of that landed gentry family, the only son of Henry Peel, and had issue, two sons and a daughter. Her elder son, Jonathan Henry Maconchy Peel [born 1954], who succeeded his father, married 15 May, 1982, the Hon Ann Katharine de Yarburgh-Bateson [born 10 Aug, 1950], the only child of the 6th Baron Deramore [1911-2006].

Pamela Lady Holderness, widow of the 3rd baronet
She was the former Pamela Chapman, daughter of Eric Chapman, CBE, by his first wife the former Joyce Lowe, and married 14 Nov, 1953, Richard William Holderness [b. 30 Nov, 1927], son of Sir Ernest Holderness, 2nd Baronet [1890-1968], by his wife the former Emily Carleton McQuaid [died 1950]. Her husband succeeded to the baronetcy, 23 Aug, 1968, and died 30 May, 1998.
Lady Holderness leaves 2 sons, Martin and Andrew and a daughter, Jane. The elder son is the fourth baronet.

She was the former Marianne Schaeffer, daughter of Dr Erich Hermann Schaeffer [d 1965], of Cambridge, and married 10 Sept, 1955, Patrick Alexander Macnaghten, son of Sir Antony Macnaghten of Macnaghten, 10th Baronet [1899-1972], by his wife the former Magdalene Fisher [1904-2002].
Her husband succeeded to the baronetcy on his father's death, 12 Dec, 1972. He died 22 Aug, 2007.
Lady Macnaghten leaves issue, including Sir Malcolm, the 12th Baronet, born 1956.

Sophie Elwes, great-niece of the Duchess of Kent, engaged to Abdullah Mukesh
The bride-to-be is a granddaughter maternally of Sir Marcus Worsley, 5th Baronet [1925-2012], of Hovingham Hall, near York, and she is a great-niece of HRH The Duchess of Kent, GCVO [b 1933].
Sophie Elwes was paralysed in a tragic accident at the age of 22 when she fell eight metres from a balcony and crushed her spinal chord. She has been a paraplegic since 2011.
Last year Miss Elwes became Country Life's first 'Girl in Pearls' in a wheelchair.

Sir Stanley Renals, 4th Baronet
Sir Stanley's baronetcy was created for his grandfather, Sir Joseph Renals [1843-1907], who was Lord Mayor of London, 1894-5.
Sir Stanley, formerly in the Merchant Navy, was born 20 May, 1923, a younger son of Sir James Herbert Renals, 2nd Baronet [1870-1927], by his wife the former Susan Emma Crafter [d 1957], and succeeded to the baronetcy, on the demise of his elder brother, Sir Herbert, the 3rd Bt, 18 Aug 1961.
Sir Stanley married 2 January, 1957, Maria Dolores Rodriguez Pinto [died 2012], daughter of José Rodriquez Ruiz, by whom he had one son.
The baronetcy now passes to his only son, Stanley Michael Renals [born 14 January, 1958].

Lady Caroline Elizabeth Susan Tyrrell 1930-2020
She was born Caroline Elizabeth Susan Hay, 16 April, 1930, daughter of Major-General Lord Edward Douglas John Hay [1888-1944], by his second wife the former Audrey Clara Lilian Latham, scion of the Latham baronets.
Her father was killed by enemy action, 18 June, 1944, in the air raid which destroyed the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks.
She was a granddaughter of the 10th Marquis of Tweeddale [1826-1911], and raised to the rank and precedence of the daughter of a Marquis in 1970, following her half-brother's succession to the Tweeddale peerages.
Caroline had an elder half-sister, Lady Marioth Hay [1918-2006], and a half-brother, David, 12th Marquis of Tweeddale [1921-79]. She was an aunt of the 13th Marquis [1947-2005], and the current, 14th Marquis [born 6 Aug 1947].
Lady Caroline was twice wed, firstly, 20 Oct 1953 [div 1970], Richard Noel Marshall Armitage [died 1986], married 2ndly, in 1970, Reginald Charles Tyrrell.
Lady Caroline leaves issue from her first marriage, a son, Alexander [born in 1958], and was predeceased by a son, Charles [1954-2017].

The Baroness Lovell-Davis, widow of life peer
She co-founded a national childrens’ welfare association, created a telephone information service and hosted a radio show for youngsters.
She was born Jean Graham, daughter of Peter Foster Graham and married in 1950, Peter Lovell Davis [1924-2001], political adviser and newspaper director, who was created a life peer by Harold Wilson in 1974, as Baron Lovell-Davis, of Highgate in Greater London. He was a Labour Govt Whip in the Lords 1974-5, and a junior minister in the Department of Energy. He died 6 Jan, 2001.
Lady Lovell-Davis leaves a son, Stephen and a daughter, Catherine.

She was born 30 December, 1937 as Marina Orloff-Davidoff, daughter of Lieutenant-Commander Count Serge Orloff-Davidoff [1905-1945], by his wife the Hon Elisabeth Gwendolen Scott-Ellis [1914-1976], scion of the Barons Howard De Walden.
She married 20 March, 1964, as his second wife, Derek William Charles Keppel, styled Viscount Bury [1911-1968], son and heir of the 9th Earl of Albemarle. Her husband predeceased his father, dying 8 Nov 1968.
Marina Bury leaves an only son, Rufus Arnold Alexis Keppel [born 16 July, 1965], who succeeded his grandfather, 14 July, 1979, as 10th Earl of Albemarle, Viscount Bury and Baron Ashford.
The funeral takes place at East Chiltington Church, near Lewes, Sussex, 10 July, 2020.

Elisabeth Baroness Ampthill [died 2020]
She was the former Elisabeth Anne Marie Mallon, daughter of Claude Henri Gustave Mallon, of Paris, and married 28 March, 1972, the then Hon Geoffrey Denis Erskine Russell.
Her husband's father, the 3rd Baron Ampthill petitioned for a divorce from his first wife in Apr 1922 on account of her adultery, misconduct being alleged as early as Nov 1918, within a month of their wedding. On 15 Oct 1921 Lady Ampthill gave birth to a male child, Geoffrey, of which Lord Ampthill, by affidavit, disclaimed the paternity. After a divorce of 1923 was overturned on appeal in 1924, Lady Ampthill petitioned on behalf of her son seeking a declaration of legitimacy. This was granted in 1925. Following the death of the 3rd Baron Ampthill, 3 June, 1973, the succession of his son was allowed on the grounds that his declared legitimacy brought him within the terms of the patent of creation as heir male of the body.
Her husband served in World War II 1939-45 as Capt, Irish Guards; Deputy Speaker House of Lords 1983-99; CBE 1986; Member of the Select Committee on the Channel Tunnel Bill 1987; Deputy Chairman, Express Newspapers 1989-2011 and of United Newspapers 1991-96; Chairman of Committees, House of Lords 1992-94; Privy Councillor 1995; Member of the Select Committee on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Bill 1996; elected hereditary peer (Deputy Speaker - Cross Bench), House of Lords 1999-2011.
The marriage ended in divorce in 1987.

William Brian Pigott-Brown was born at Windsor, 20 January, 1941, son of Capt. Sir John Hargreaves Pigott-Brown, 2nd Baronet [1913-1942], of the Coldstream Guards, by his wife the former Helen Viola Egerton Cotton.
The Old Etonian inherited £750,000 in 1962 and built the Aston Upthorpe Stud in Oxfordshire. In his horseracing career he rode 74 winners. His biggest win was at Cheltenham in 1961, winning the National Hunt Chase on Superfine.
He succeeded to the baronetcy, 25 December, 1942, when his father was killed in action in Tunisia.
Sir William never married. His baronetcy becomes extinct.
