_. The Hon Benjamin Chandos Leigh, who died 4 June, 2020, aged 77, was a scion of the Barons Leigh. His home was at Little Rissington House, Cheltenham.
He was born 24 Oct, 1942, third son of Lieutenant-Col the 4th Baron Leigh [1908-1979], of Stoneleigh Abbey, Warwickshire, by his wife the former Anne Hicks-Beach [1908-77], scion of the Earls St Aldwyn; married 1 Aug, 1979, Jennifer Vivian Winser, former wife of the Hon Richard Henry Strutt [later 5th Baron Belper], and daughter of Capt Peter Winser, by whom he had issue a daughter, Samantha Jane Hazel Leigh [born 1980]. He was step-father to the Hon Michael Strutt and the Hon Henrietta Strutt.
His funeral is to take place at Adlestrop Church.
