_. Richard James Stuart Walter Barttelot, who died 21 June, 2020, aged 88, was a scion of the Barttelot baronets; born 3 February, 1932, son of Lieutenant-Col. William Frederick Geoffrey Nelson Barttelot [1905-1996], by his wife the former Jane Elizabeth Stirling [1910-90]. He was unmarried.
Richard Barttelot was a grandson of Lt-Col Sir Walter Barttelot, 3rd Baronet [1880-1918].
