The engagement was announced 16 August, 2025, between Robin Francis William Scott (born 1994), scion of that Scottish landed family of Glenaros, younger son of Colum Basil Scott (born 9 June, 1954), of Kilmore, Aygyll, and his wife the former Sarah Louise Credland (born circa 1961), and Line Ye, daughter of Mr William Ye and Mme Yveline Chen, of Castanet-Tolosan, France.
Robin Scott is descended from the Ogilvy baronets:-
