Mark Philip Lakin, who died 18 August, 2025, aged 84, was a scion of the Lakin baronets.
He was born 15 March, 1941, the second son of Lieutenant-Commander Richard Barklie Lakin, RN (1914-2011), and his wife the former Pamela Helen Mary Jackson-Taylor (who died 1981); and married in 1988, Mrs Christina Lisa Josephine Shiach (nee Dolan, born 1950), by whom he had issue, two sons, Patrick (1989-2016), and Henry (b 1991), and a daughter, Molly (b 1993).
