Joan Murray Quinn (nee Reid), who died 25 May, 2025, aged 96, was a scion of the Reid baronets, of Springburn, Glasgow.
Joan Murray Reid was born 22 May, 1929, daughter of Sir Douglas Neilson Reid, 2nd Baronet (1898-1971), and his wife th former Margaret Brighton Young Maxtone (who died 1992); and married 6 August, 1953, John Francis Quinn (who died 2014), son of Peter Quinn, of Corragaun, Westport, County Mayo, Ireland, by whom she had issue, six sons, John, Peter, James, Michael, David and Kevin, and four daughters, Mary, Margaret, Anne and Pauline.
She was a sister of Sir Hugh Reid, 3rd and last Baronet (1933-2012).
