Sir William was the holder of a baronetcy, of Spottow, Norfolk, created for his ancestor in 1784. His home for some years was in Nemingha, New South Wales.
William Alexander Estridge Durrant was born 26 Nov, 1929, the only son of the eighth baronet, and succeeded to the baronetcy on the death of his father Sir William, in 1994; married 1953, Dorothy, daughter of Ronal Croker, of Quirindi, New South Wales, Australia, by whom he had a son and a daughter.
The baronetcy now passes to his only son, David, who was born 1 July, 1960.

He married in 1971, Antoinette Francesca McKenna, by whom he had one daughter, Octavia, and succeeded to the baronetcy, created in 1776, upon his father's demise, 1998.
The baronetcy now passes to his kinsman, Alan Keith Mackworth, born in 1945, resident in Canada.

_. Sir Alex Fergusson, who died 31 July, 2018, aged 69, was the former presiding officer of the Scottish parliament, the MSP for Scotland South 1999-2003, and for Galloway and West Dumfries, 2003-16, who resigned in 2016 after 17 years service, and was knighted in that year.

He was born Alexander Charles Onslow Fergusson 8 April, 1949, and educated at Eton, the elder son of the Rev Simon Charles David Fergusson by his wife the former Auriole Kathleen Hughes-Onslow, descended from the Earls of Onslow. and was a grandson paternally of Sir Charles Fergusson, 7th Baronet GCB, GCMG, DSO, MVO (1865-1951), by his wife the former Lady Alice Mary Boyle (d 1958), daughter of the 7th Earl of Glasgow.
He married in 1974, Jane Merryn Barthold, by whom he had three sons.

He was born 29 July, 1938, the fifth son of the Hon Sir Geoffrey Cokayne Gibbs, KCMG (1901-75), by his wife the former Helen Margaret Leslie, and was a grandson of Herbert Cokayne Gibbs, 1st Baron Hunsdon (1854-1935).
It was Herbert Gibbs who, in 1908, acquired the manor of Hunsdon. This manor with the title of Baron Hunsdon was granted by Queen Elizabeth I to her first cousin, Henry Carey, and ancestor of Gibbs, who, in 1923, was raised to the peerage.
