The engagement was announced 2 August, 2018, between Harry James Fraser Ingham (born 1988), son of Mr & Mrs Michael Ingham, of Wimbledon, London, & Camellia Aline Buckmaster (born 1988), daughter of Henry G. Buckmaster, of Little Blakenham, Suffolk, by his wife the former Julia Mary Hobhouse (born 26 September, 1956), scion of the Hobhouse baronets.
The bride-to-be is a great-granddaughter of Sir Reginald Hobhouse, 5th Baronet (1878-1947). Her ancestor, Benjamin Hobhouse, was MP for Bletchingley, Grampound and Hendon, and Chief Secretary, Board of Control, India, and created a baronet in 1812. Another kinsman, John Cam Hobhouse, created Baron Broughton, was a distinguished politician and great friend of the poet Lord Byron.
