Josceline Mary Hebblethwaite, who died 4 November, 2024, aged 78, was descended paternally from the Phillimore family and maternally from the Roxby landed gentry family.
She was born 7 January, 1946, the second daughter of Sir Henry Josceline Phillimore, PC (1910-1974), a Lord Justice of Appeal, by his first wife the former Katharine Mary Maude Roxby (1912-1984); and married firstly, 14 January, 1967 (div. 1980), Hugo David Montagu Morley-Fletcher (1940-2022), a maternal grandson of the 11th Marquess of Tweeddale, son of Lt-Col David Morley-Fletcher, OBE (1910-1971), and his wife the Lady Christine Daphne Hay (1919-2000); & married 2ndly, 5 November, 1988, Jeremy Hebblethwaite. From her first marriage she leaves issue, a son, Gifford (born 13 June, 1969), and a daughter, Hester (born 1972).
