The marriage has taken place in September, 2024, at Pershore, Worcestershire, between Lucien Oliver D. Ireland (born 1995), son of John D. Ireland and his wife the former Joanna E.A. Gillis (born 1963), & Sophie Cecily Coleridge (born 1996), the only daughter of Sir Nicholas David Coleridge, CBE, DL (born 4 March, 1957), the 43rd Provost of Eton College, by his wife the former Georgia E. Metcalfe (born 1965).
The bride is descended from a brother of the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834), and is a kinswoman of the Barons Coleridge (Peerage of the UK, cr 1874).
