The engagement was announced 23 December, 2023, between Ehys Clavell Mansel (born 1987), scion of the Mansel baronets, son of the late Hugh Clavell Mansel (1948-2015), of Long Crichel, Dorset, and his wife the former Diana Theresa Violet Scrope (born 2 Feb, 1951), scion of that landed gentry family, of Danby on Yore, Yorks, & Louisa Cecilia Elizabeth Cottrell (born 3 October, 1987), daughter of Capt Edward Alexander Campbhell Cottrell (born 1959), of East Marden, West Sussex, and his wife the former Camilla Jane Neal (born 1960).
