The engagement was announced 23 December, 2023, between Edward Charles (Ted) Bennett (born 1994), son of Charles Albury George Bennett, of Carlton, Suffolk, and his wife the former Joanna Caroline Vernon (born 26 July, 1963), scion of the Vernon baronets, and Charlotte Anne (Lottie) Little (born 8 August, 1995), daughter of Christopher Guthrie Little (born 1947), of Kensington, London, and his wife the former Emma Jane Lowndes.
Ted Bennett is a descendant of Sir William Vernon, 1st Baronet (1835-1919).
