Susan Diana Harden (nee Fairney), died 20 December, 2023. She was 88.
She was born in 1935, daughter of Robert Vivian Fairney (1894-1966), and his wife the former Joan Ethel Marriott (1912-82); and married firstly, 12 Oct, 1955, Simon Patrick Conyngham Plunket (1932-1968), scion of the Barons Plunket, son of David Pierce Conyngham Plunket (1908-56), and his wife the former Sybil Marjorie Archer (1907-82), scion of that landed gentry family; and married 2ndly, 1972, Martin John Faber Morrison; and married 3rdly, 1979, Major Richard Harden. From her first marriage she leaves a son, Piers Robert Conyngham Plunket (born 27 June, 1959), and a daughter, Sara Doon Plunket (born 19 January, 1957).
