The engagement was announced 22 February, 2025, between Simon George M. Main (born 1988), son of Professor Brian George M. Main, FRSE, Professor of Economics, University of Edinburgh, and Mrs June Marks Lambert, of Edinburgh, & Annabel Susan Grosvenor Comyn (born 6 July, 1995), scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Michael F. Comyn, of Pulborough, West Sussex, and his wife the former Lucinda Parker.
Annabel Comyn is descended from the Grosvenor Barons Ebury:-
