James Alastair Geoffrey Fawcett died 6 February 2025, aged 60.
He was born in 1964, son of John Fawcett and his wife the former Sarah Branston, and married 1996, Lara Sarah Grylls (born 1966), daughter of Sir William Michael John Grylls, MP (1934-2001), and his wife the former Sarah Smiles Justice Ford (1932-2002), descended from the Earls of Shrewsbury, Barons Lyttelton, &c, daughter of Neville Montagu Ford (1906-2000), and his wife the former Patricia Smiles (1921-1995) (who was later Lady Fisher, wife of Sir Nigel Fisher, MP (1913-1996)).
He leaves issue, two sons, Mungo Lionel P (born 1997), and Bevan Michael B (born 1999), and a daughter, Tallulah Smiles (born 2002).
